We praise Allah for allowing us reach this blessed month. Our heartfelt greetings to all Mosque Trustees, volunteers and your congregations. Ramadan is a time of immense spiritual growth, self-discipline, and devotion to Allah. It is a month of mercy, forgiveness, and generosity, where we increase our prayers, strengthen our community bonds, and strive to be of service to others.

During this sacred time, we are reminded of the importance of treating one another with kindness, patience, and respect. As worshippers gather in the mosque for prayers and reflection, let us embody the best of character, supporting and uplifting one another for the sake of Allah.

CoM has sent the annual reminders leaflet ‘DOs and DON’Ts in Ramadan’ to all Mossques in Tower Hamlets. These contain valuable guidance on fasting, etiquettes, and key reminders for the blessed month. We kindly request that you distribute these booklets to all worshippers so they can benefit from the important information provided. You may also place copies on the mosque notice board for wider access.

CoM Guidelines for Mosque During Ramadan v3 (spread)-2

Tower Hamlets Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) has published the latest handbook developed for teachers, carers and parents, in partnership with  Tower Hamlets Council of Mosques.

Ramadan 2025 is expected to begin on 1st March 2025 and conclude with Eid on 29th March or 1st April 2025, depending on the sighting of the moon.

This guide provides essential advice and practical recommendations to help schools in Tower Hamlets create a supportive and inclusive environment for pupils observing Ramadan. It also serves as a valuable resource for educators, workplaces, and colleagues, offering insights to foster understanding and accommodation during this sacred month.
